We are All in This Together
Pathlight School

Pathlight School’s FOS project centred on the theme of uniting students to show kindness to everyone around them. The team compiled a music video montage showcasing the team spirit and cohesiveness of Pathlighters, who were able to join together and show kindness and consideration to one another despite the pandemic. The video featured students and staff singing National Day song, “We Will Get There”, interspersed with shots of everyone banding together, showing solidarity during a difficult time and playing their role to ensure that the school is a safe environment for all.

Kindness Begets Kindness
MINDS Woodlands Gardens School

Focusing on the themes of caring, sharing, giving, loving and being responsible, MINDS Woodlands Gardens school conducted a wide range of activities that sent ripples of kindness out into the community.

They made cards and crafts and prepared care packs for healthcare workers. They created kindness posters and displayed them around school to raise awareness of kindness. They organised “The Giving of Joy” donation drive, collecting clothes, toys and books for The Salvation Army. They made an appreciation video for all the staff in school too. Overall, it was a fruitful and enriching project that brought plenty of joy and meaning to students, teachers and members of the community too.

Kindness Means a Caring Heart!
MINDS – Lee Kong Chian Gardens School

Believing that one little kind act will grow into many more acts of kindness, staff and students embarked on a host of many little kind acts, hoping to inspire lots of kindness all around. Their project activities included taking the ‘Singa Pledge’, performing a ‘Kindness Dance’, recognising individual acts of kindness with Kindness Award Cards, making Care Cards to encourage those who had fallen sick, preparing tokens of appreciation for non-teaching staff, sharing kind words and deeds on a Caring Hearts Notice Board, and many, many more. The entire school definitely came together to embrace the spirit of kindness, spreading its joy beyond the school, and out into the community.
